When the Poster Hunters went to the USA

Here are some snapshots from our Finnfest trip in 2008.

A historical moment! The Poster Hunters with the new Come to Finland-shirt. We printed it in the States and the box was waiting for us at the hotel in Duluth.

And hey, talking about shirts: Only in America! Manu's three sons loved this one. They all fit in it quite nicely.

Manu in a last minute review of our presentation at Finnfest.

On Thursday we were last on the Finnfest program, on Saturday morning we were first. But we managed to fill the room anyway. Big thanks to everyone who came to see and hear the Poster Hunters!

We had books and posters with us for the Finnfest stand. Our star seller sold everything! We are eternally greatful!

We went by the public library in Duluth and donated a copy of Come to Finland. Let's hope it has come to use.

Manu with our new great friends who helped us so much! And their hospitality – America at its best! Next to Manu sits Geri Ross, then Lynn Anderson and Larry Longmore.

Okay, Manu is up to his knees in Lake Superior. But will he return to the shore or will he actually jump into the ice cold water?

A true Poster Hunter is not afraid of cold waters.

Manu is happy to find his favourite shampoo in a Finnish shop in Silver Bay.

And all their Finnish delicacies, yummy!

Manu enjoys a serene moment in Canada's Pukaskwa National Park.

Well, there is always a competition between the two Poster Hunters. If Manu could dip into the Lake Superior, so could Jocke!

Either Manu just saw a bear or then he is in a hurry to the airport.
